Shopify Academy

E-commerce isn’t easy. If you’ve ever tried starting a business, you know the struggle. What are you going to sell? How will you build a brand? How are you going to drive traffic and sales?

Fortunately, other entrepreneurs like you have already been there. They’ve gone through the same struggles already, which means you don’t have to. They’ve made all the mistakes already, so you won’t. They’ve seen what works and what doesn’t, so you don’t have to guess.

Shopify Academy gives you exclusive access to experienced entrepreneurs, here to tell their story. You’ll have your very own virtual business mentor to keep you informed, accountable, and motivated.

Shopify Support

Shopify has one of the best support systems in the industry. You could reach them 24/7 through the phone online, live chat or by email. If you creepy like that, you can do all three things at the same time.

Shopify Help Center

Shopify prepares a ton of solution regarding the different issues into the different group you will face when you are building your store.

This is my first time that sees the company provide such large amount of helping information in its website.

Pricing

Before you sign up for any plan, you should check out the 14 days free trial. There’s no credit card required and you’ll get a good idea of whether Shopify is a good choice for your project. Use this period to test as much as you can and remember that you can cancel anytime.

Pricing

Also, if you want to save some bucks, you can buy a yearly plan. Instead of going through every plan features, let’s have a look at their main differences.

Obviously, the price is the main one. The entry plan costs $29 a month whereas the highest standard plan basically costs 10 times more.

But how does Shopify justify the higher price?

There are several factors at play. The principal one is the features at the bottom of their comparison page. You can see what you get exclusively in the higher plans.

If you need a feature like integrated gift cards or automatically calculated shipping rates from third-party carriers like UPS or FedEx. You will need a higher plan. It’s that simple.

But there is one feature that can have an impact on your decision, Staff accounts. As you can see, the higher your plan is, the more staff accounts you’ll get. Staff accounts can have different rights so you don’t have to share one account with the whole team.

Pricing

Here are the transaction fees. Even if you don’t offer credit card payments, you will have to pay Shopify’s transaction fees. Like the credit card payments, the fees decrease with higher plans.

What Is Shopify Lite

Shopify Lite is a cheap entry solution for vendors that don’t need a store website hosted at Shopify but want to sell their products via different channels like Facebook or their own no Shopify website.

What Is Shopify Lite

What Is Shopify Plus

Shopify Plus is a most expensive solution. It’s for companies that can’t fulfill their need with the advanced Shopify plan. It comes with the additional feature give you more freedom in the backend. What Is Shopify Plus

How Many User Of Shopify

In Shopify, there are over 600,000 merchants. Total sales on Shopify is $72 billion.

Plenty Tutorial and Resource

Shopify has plenty of different tutorials and resources. It also gives you a very comprehensive knowledge base and manual so that you can find a lot of answers.

They also include screenshots so you can exactly how to solve the issue that you are experiencing. If that doesn’t work, you can always call live chat or email to their dedicated support team for further help.

Hosting

Shopify will fully host your online store for you and gives you an unlimited amount of bandwidth. So, in theory, if you have a million visitors coming into your store a month, you won’t get charged up anymore with your monthly plan.

The awesome thing is that they even manage the entire hosting process for you so you can focus on the other parts of your business such as marketing, products or enjoying walking on the beach.

Security

Shopify offers pretty top notch security. It is included to ensure that your customer data is secure with Shopify. Your online shop will be Level 1 PCI compliant and the shopping cart also includes its own SSL certificate.

It also uses industry standard 128-bit encryption technology which is actually used by the big bank. This will keep your store information on the platform to be secure. You can also mention this to your visitors so they know that it’s safe to purchase from you.

Shopify Offices

I personally think that the offices of Shopify are really beautiful.

My Final Opinion Of Shopify

Shopify is a great system to use if you plan on selling products online. It also comes with a risk-free and 14-day free trial for you to test for yourself and if you don’t think it’s suitable for you. You can cancel your account.

As a business owner, I could definitely appreciate investing the right amount of financial resource to receive help and convenience. Now investing the right tools to grow your business is not something that you should take lightly.

In my own experience, investing in tools resulted in saving me a lot of time and money resources. Let face it. We only have 24 hours in days and as a business owner, you have to juggle between operating your business and your life.

Investing tools that can make your life easier so you can focus on the other important aspects of the business.

I truly believe Shopify is the right tool for you to build an excellent online store and to make money online!
